The last couple months have been very busy around here. Stanley is doing great and is a blast! He can sit up on his own and has become a professional roller in his sleep. He has had a couple little colds and is a trooper when he is sick.
In September, we went to the Lincoln Log Cabin and spent some time enjoying the scenary. Unfortunately they are closing the park down because the politicians in Chicago are cutting the funding for parks and historical places downstate. Uppity northerners!!! Booooooo!!! Anywho, we're glad we were able to go while it was still open.
Stanley was able to see his cousins at Ava's birthday party. He started eating cereal last month and while he was at grandma and grandpa Horner's house, he got to try out a high chair. Lots of fun... lots of mess. Also, last month he went with his mom on a work trip and enjoyed hanging out with the students.
In October so far, Stanley got to try on his new cowboy hat. It is part of his halloween outfit this year as well as the Christian Campus House Annual Barn Dance. Josh and Andrea went to Disney World for their honeymoon and brought Stanley back his first Mickey Mouse. As you can see in the last pictures, he needs a haircut. He's starting to look like a hippie... he definitely does not get that from his daddy!
So, in the next installment (whenever that may be) Stanley will probably have a haircut, sportin' a cowboy outfit and cutting the turkey at Thanksgiving. LOL Oh... and if you check out our blog and you think to yourself... 'why are the not updating this place?'... please refer to the 'about our family blog' just to the right... it explains everything.
**cough**Mandy**cough** ;-)
I hope you enjoy the new pics!
